The Under 6s — 2025/26

You can start your rugby journey with Gainsborough Rugby Club from the age of 4, and honestly, it’s the perfect time to begin. As part of our Minis section, the Rugby Skills Academy is built around our brilliant Under 6s — the core of the next generation. They’re learning the essential skills, confidence, and teamwork they’ll need before stepping up to the Minis at Under 7s. Alongside the fun, we teach them the core values of rugby from day one — Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline, and Sportsmanship. These values shape how they train, how they play, and how they grow both on and off the pitch. Training takes place on Saturdays at 9am for maximum convenience… because let’s be honest, the kids have already been up for at least three hours by then. Our coaches bring energy, patience, and plenty of fun, making sure every session is packed with development and smiles. These little legends are the future of Gainsborough RUFC, and we couldn’t be prouder of the start they’re making.
