The Gainsborough RUFC U12s are one of the club’s longest‑established junior teams, forming a key part of the Mini/Junior section that has supported young players at Gainsborough for many years. The club’s Mini/Junior programme provides opportunities for children aged 5 to 16 to play rugby in an environment built on respect, teamwork, discipline, and enjoyment — values that continue to shape the U12s as they grow both on and off the field. As a long‑running age group within the club, the U12s have helped introduce countless players to the game, contributing to the strong, community‑driven junior culture that Gainsborough RUFC is known for. The team trains and develops alongside the wider Minis and Juniors at the Roses Sports Ground, benefiting from a supportive coaching environment that focuses on building confidence, core skills, and a love for rugby.
