The Gainsborough RUFC U16 Girls are part of the club’s growing junior and youth pathway, representing one of the key age grade squads within the Girls’ section. The team is officially listed among the club’s recognised age grade sides, reflecting Gainsborough RUFC’s commitment to developing rugby opportunities for girls as they progress toward senior participation. The U16 Girls regularly feature in club activity alongside other junior teams, and they take part in competitive fixtures — including hosting events such as a double header at the Roses Sports Field, where they faced Long Eaton and Grimsby, showcasing the age group’s development and competitive involvement within the region.
