Walking Rugby is coming to Gainsborough
04/06/2026
The club is delighted to announce that we will be introducing Walking Rugby to our ever-growing range of rugby opportunities available in the local area. The programme will be led by none other than club stalwart, Shane Ellis.
Shane has been involved with the club in almost every role imaginable over the years, and if you take a look around our website, you may even spot his younger self in some of the photos! Shane is keen to get this initiative underway, not only to help people become more active and introduce new participants to the sport, but also to provide another fantastic social outlet within the rugby community.
Walking Rugby combines the competitive spirit of the game with a calm, relaxed, and inclusive environment. It offers a great opportunity to meet new people, reconnect with old friends, and enjoy the many benefits of being part of a rugby club.

Our first session will take place on Thursday 18th June at 7:00pm. To encourage people to come along and give it a try, we are offering the first two sessions completely free of charge.
Whether you're new to rugby, returning after time away from the game, or simply looking for a fun way to stay active, we'd love to see you there.
