The Ladies XV: Inner Warrior Game Day

🏉💛🖤 INNER WARRIOR GAME DAY! 🖤💛🏉

What a fantastic day of rugby yesterday as our Gainsborough RUFC Ladies took part in their first Inner Warrior Game Day of the season, hosted by Nottingham Casuals RFC, with six ladies’ teams coming together for a brilliant day of rugby! 🏉

For the day, our ladies joined forces with Amber Valley, and what a combination they turned out to be! 💪🔥

From the very first whistle, the ladies showed incredible teamwork, determination and passion. At times, you would never have guessed these two teams had only just come together. The communication, encouragement and support for one another were absolutely outstanding!

💪 Our forwards were dominant, putting in some huge tackles, powerful carries and fantastic work around the breakdown, giving us a brilliant platform to play from.

⚡ Our speedsters in the backs were electric, showing some fantastic pace, attacking flair and brilliant running rugby that was a joy to watch!

❤️ Every single player gave their all! Whether it was making that extra tackle, chasing down a loose ball, supporting a teammate or putting their body on the line, the effort and commitment were second to none.

With games lasting just 15 minutes, the ladies were often left wanting more, especially when they were finding their rhythm! But they certainly made every minute count, playing with smiles on their faces and giving absolutely everything for each other.

What stood out most wasn't just the rugby, but the togetherness, positivity and team spirit shown by everyone involved. Two clubs coming together, supporting each other and playing some fantastic rugby. That's what Inner Warrior is all about! 🏉❤️

The effort, attitude, commitment and passion shown yesterday were fantastic. Days like these show just how far we're coming as a team, and there's so much more to come!
