The lads kept working hard off the ball and showed no sign of tiring. Finley completed his brace, with Jordy Holden, Steve Howse and Kieron Smythe also crossing the line. Kieron added a conversion to take Gainsborough’s total to 27.

Grimsby kept battling, but Gainsborough’s defence and commitment helped secure the 27–17 victory and a deserved try bonus point. Kieron Smythe was named Man of the Match, rounding off a strong afternoon built on a full-squad effort. 🖤💛
