On March 14th, 2026, Gainsborough RUFC and our wider community will come together for a huge fundraising challenge in support of Sophie’s Journey — a charity dedicated to helping children with cancer and their families.
This all‑day event (07:00–19:00) will take place at West Lindsey Leisure Centre, The Avenue, Gainsborough (DN21 1EP) and is set to be one of the biggest community efforts we’ve ever taken on.
The Challenge
We are Rowing, Running & Riding the combined distance between all Six Nations stadiums — an incredible 1,430 miles. This symbolic journey represents strength, unity, and determination, all in Sophie’s name.
What’s Happening on the Day
Visitors can expect a packed and family‑friendly event with:
- Stalls & activities
- Bouncy castles
- Live rugby games
- Six Nations shown on the big screen
- And plenty more entertainment throughout the day
